“Scared Money” F. Meek Mill & Pusha T

In listening to this track you must first remember the old adage of not judging a book by its cover. Yeah, the cover art for the latest N.O.R.E. single, “Scared Money,” is laughably bad, but the track itself? It’s actually pretty damn good, even if it sounds like the typical militaristic gangsta rap that’s become increasingly prevalent these days. Where this track particularly excels is in its guest lineup: Pusha T and Meek Mill. Both are on point here, especially Mill, who complements the stuttering, gun shot-laden percussion with intense precision.

You can stream the track below. N.O.R.E.’s S.U.P.E.R.T.H.U.G. is due out some time this year.
