The subject matter in Say Hi's new video for "Devils" is nothing new--it's another entry in the "artist sells his soul to the devil" canon. Where it succeeds is in its lighthearted approach and overall humorous tone. After making his Satanic deal and living the good life, Say Hi's Eric Elbogen is marked for death by the dark lord, who then comes to collect. I've got to say though, for someone who doles out eternal damnation on the regular, the devil is awfully considerate here. He lets Elbogen pick out his coffin, and gives him a cushy job as his driver, post-death.
