Saul Williams: "Explain My Heart" (Video)

It's been more than three years since we last really heard from Saul Williams, when he released the Trent Reznor-produced The Inevitable Rise and Liberation of Niggy Tardust album online. In a then-vogue Radiohead style of music distribution, fans could either download the album for free or pay $5 for better quality MP3s.

Since then, Williams moved to Paris and has been working on his next album, Volcanic Sunlight. The first single, "Explain My Heart," came out last October, but now we have some visuals to match up with the song's frenetic pace. In typical form for Saul Williams, who got his start as a spoken word poet, the video opens with a few lines of verse and is full of confrontational imagery.

Volcanic Sunlight is out May 2.
