Theo Wenner, son of Rolling Stone honcho Jann Wenner, helms the video for "King Night," the latest cut from Salem's album of the same name to get a video. So what does Wenner cook up here? A video that features a semi leading its party bus vibe to a cemetery, where it rocks out some tombstones. So you know, only half as offensive as most of Salem's music. ZING! But seriously though, as much as it's become a game to mock Salem on the Internet, at least this song would sound great over a horror movie trailer. And you have to credit Salem for this: They're the only band I've ever heard of surviving getting booed offstage at SXSW.
King Night is out now.
