Fellow Prefix writer Dan Nishimoto perfectly summed up "Bring Me Down Pt. 2" in his review of Saigon's The Greatest Story Never Told with the following sentiment: "The song still sounds cut from the unfortunate cloth of B.o.B's "Airplanes" and Eminem's "Won't Back Down," which not only feels disingenuous, but also late." In other words, Saigon's track blends the over-the-top, epic vibes with uplifting lyricism something fierce, all of which gets bundled up with the cinematic visuals we see here. But you know what? If this is what it takes for him to capture a bigger audience for The Greatest Story Never Told, then we'll give him this one. I'm doubtful that will actually occur, but still.
