Sade: "Soldier of Love" (Live on Letterman) (Video)

Sade performed the title track of her new album on The Today Show yesterday (Feb. 9) and repeated the trick later in the day on David Letterman’s show. The talk show host reminds us of her sales power during these cash-strapped times for the music industry—Sade has sold over 50 million albums to date.

“Soldier of Love” is driven by a shuffling beat and features Sade’s trademark sultry vocals. It fits comfortably with the rest of her back catalog, but don’t hold your breath for further material after hearing Soldier of Love—she currently averages one album every decade.
