Ryan Adams: "Shine Through The Dark"

It doesn’t usually take much time between for Ryan Adams to come up with new material, and so it has proved once again with this release of a track he’s donated to a homeless youth benefit compilation. The CD is titled Live From Nowhere Near You: Vol. II, and Adams’ contribution is a stripped-down version of a new song named “Shine Through the Dark.” There’s plenty of Lennon-esque reverb on his vocals here, but it suits the downtempo hue of the folk-y track.
