Ryan Adams: "Lucky Now" (Live On Skavlan) (Video)
Ryan Adams just scored his second top 10 album on the Billboard 200 with Ashes & Fire, which has been heavily promoted by various live renditions of the single “Lucky Now.” The singer returned to that track again late last week, when he appeared on a Norwegian show named Skavlan to perform it. “This isn’t black metal, it’s more beige metal,” he quipped, before playing the song clad in a T-shirt bearing the logo of the decidedly un-black metal Ratt. It’s odd that all the hosts and guests of the show are right up in Adams’ face while he’s playing, but he manages to pull off a touching version of the song anyway. Check it out below.
