This has been a big year for late-blooming Swedish pop star Robyn. She released three EPs in succession (Body Talk Pts. 1-3), and then, in November, a full-length (plain old Body Talk). Just last Saturday (Dec. 11), she performed at the annual Nobel Peace Prize Concert. Above is the set in its entirety, stilted banter and all. That first song? That first song is "Jag Vet En Dejlig Rosa" (or "I Know Of A Lovely Rose"), a traditional and melancholic Swedish folk number of old. While jarring, Robyn sans synth 'n' bass is also pretty bad ass. And she more than makes up for it with the remaining two songs: fan-favorites "Dancing On My Own" and "Indestructible," both off Body Talk, both heavily danceable.
Other performers at Saturday's concert included Florence and The Machine, Barry Manilow, and Herbie Hancock, to name a few.
