If you were fortunate enough to catch Robyn on her recent North American tour, you know that she dances her ass off during her live shows, working herself into a frenzy and grinding on her mic stand. If you didn't see the tour, then this video for "Call Your Girlfriend" is probably pretty crazy, since it's Robyn basically throwing out all of her dance moves in the course of three and a half minutes, going deep in her arsenal of arm moves. It's the "Lotus Flower" video with a song that doesn't suck, and that you can actually dance to.
I was told recently that my total unironic love of Robyn is a way to listen to pop music while feeling different than people who enjoy Ke$ha. That's probably fair. But how can you deny a monster song like this?
