Robyn

"Be Mine" (Live on Jimmy Kimmel) (Video)

At first, I thought that Robyn's performance on Kimmel last night was another clip of Robyn having to promote the same album (2005's Robyn, which hit the states in 2008) for the 500th time. Instead, Robyn's performance of "Be Mine" is in promotion of her acoustic EP (The Cherry Tree Sessions) which feature acoustic takes of a few songs from Robyn. The performance really shows off Robyn's voice, since she is only backed by a piano, not electro-pop rushes. She even goes a capella near the end for a talking bridge.

The Cherry Tree Sessions is out now on iTunes. [Culture Bully]
