"Elevatas" is the latest track off Robin Thicke's upcoming Sex Therapy. And it sounds a lot like a mixture of '90s cornball industrial and R&B, especially with Kid Cudi appearing as the guest MC. But those guitar riffs and synthesizers? I thought Gravity Kills stopped making music. Also, the hook seems lost in '90s electronica/trip-hop. If nothing else, "Elevatas" is an interesting case study in the cyclical nature of music. Sex Therapy drops Dec. 15.
