“R.I.P.” F. Tinie Tempah (Written By Drake)

Everything seems to be going the right way for British pop singer Rita Ora to blow all the way up here in the States. First and foremost, she’s on Jay-Z’s Roc Nation label, which means she just might have a huge team behind her, right? Right. At least, that seems apparent from her new single, “R.I.P.,” which was penned by Drake and produced by hit-makers Chase & Status. It also features buzzing British rapper Tinie Tempah, who opens the track with hype-man rhymes over the fuzzy, albeit super-bright, synthesizers. It turns out that this tune, and not last week’s “Party & Bullshit,” is Ora’s proper first single. Hello, radio. Stream it below.
