Rihanna: "Wait Your Turn" and "Hard" (Live at the AMAs) (Video)

This performance from Rihanna at last night’s (Nov. 22) American Music Awards comes with a hilarious mock “turn away now if you are easily frightened” introduction before the singer appears on a spinning wheel. Perhaps Rihanna has been taking tips from Duran Duran’s classic “Wild Boys” video (see below)?

She performed “Wait Your Turn” and “Hard” from the current Rated R, and developed a theme at this year’s AMAs by having flames shoot into the air (see also: Lady Gaga). The Mad Max-lite stage set doesn’t really suit Rihana’s style, but the AMAs producers were probably just happy she wasn’t wearing anything quite as risqué as she was in the intro film.
