Except for the few moments when he's spitting a bit faster and sounding inspired, Rick Ross tends to stick to a rather tried-and-true method of rapping. You know, that slow, methodical approach that is typically tied to epic, operatic production. That's exactly what he is doing here on "Bricks," a track produced by the Inkredibles that could have found a home on any of his recent projects. It's rather short, though, clocking in at less than two minutes, which leaves me thinking this might be a preview of what's to come on his next album. But for now, turn up the speakers and enjoy some gangsta imagery.
