Rick Ross: "9 Piece" f. T.I.
Chances are if you heard Rick Ross's very good Teflon Don you noticed that two of the album's tracks, "MC Hammer" and "B.M.F. (Blowin' Money Fast)," sounded quite similar. The reason for that is Lex Luger, who makes punishing bass-heavy beats, produced both cuts while not really switching up the style for either. That trend continues here with "9 Piece," the first leak off Rawse's Ashes to Ashes mixtape due out on Christmas Eve. The thing is, the beat bangs so hard and complements both Ross and T.I. As a result, you kind of forget that it's the same plodding tempo.
