Those in the know will be well acquainted with Joey Bada$$. But for those yet to be initiated, he’s this 17-year-old kid from Brooklyn who is, let’s just say, pretty damn good. The leading personality of the Pro Era (Progressive Era) collective had long-time purists and curious new listeners alike going nuts earlier this year with the build up, and eventual release, of his debut project, 1999.
Just in case that assortment of dusty, nostalgic jams didn’t quite quench your thirst for that “real” hip-hop, young Joey has compiled leftover material, promotional tracks used for 1999 and old recordings (some from when Joey was just 15-years-old) into Rejex.
