Rehina Spektor: "Eet" (Live on Ferguson) (Video)

“Eet” is the second single from Regina Spektor’s Far, and was her choice of song when she appeared on Craig Ferguson’s show on Friday night (Nov. 6). She is joined by a small string section and a drummer for this performance, who help build the song up from its mournful roots.

Far has been Spektor’s most successful album to date, reaching number 3 on the Billboard 200 and shifting some serious units overseas. This performance of “Eet” doesn’t give many hints as to why she has become so popular—it’s a glossy, emotionless take on the kind of song Kate Bush would have pushed into far more interesting territory.
