
The popular HBO series Boardwalk Empire returns on Sept. 25, and the cable network is cashing in by releasing an album of soundtrack music from the show. The record features contributions from Loudon Wainwright III, Martha Wainwright, Leon Redbone and Regina Spektor. The latter is previewing her track over at EW.com. It’s a version of Fanny Brice’s “My Man,” which is wonderfully evocative of the early 1920s era from which the song originated. If this is typical of the album’s feel it could be a sleeper hit soundtrack in the vein of O Brother Where Art Thou. Check out the full track listing below.
