For what's essentially a standard "performance" video, the visuals for Reflection Eternal's first single are actually entertaining. What makes everything work well together is the fact that the video moves at the same pace of the instrumental, which is an absolutely fantastic burner courtesy of Hi-Tek's killer beat. Talib Kweli is equally impressive on "In This World," as he's slowed his flow down a bit and sounds casual, yet still interested. Now if only their damn album didn't get delayed again.
Reflection Eternal's Revolutions Per Minute drops April 20.
Great beat. I haven't quite wrapped my head around the structure of the song, though.
I hear ya, Brandon, but that might be why I enjoy it so much.
I agree. By the way, I was in Fort Greene Park today and saw Talib getting interviewed on camera. At least I think it was him -- I didn't want to leer.
