Reflection Eternal's late-night push has paid off--they hit the Top 20 this week. They had something of a victory lap on Fallon last night, doing Revolutions Per Minute stand out "Ballad of the Black Gold" with help with the Roots. Never has a song about the evil of oil been this soulful and chill. You just have to hope this will lead Talib to getting some acclaim from people outside indie hip-hop; he's long overdue for a bigger breakthrough, a la Mos Def.
