Red Sparowes

"We left the apes to rot, but find the fang still grows within (Track Review)

And lo, the first track "from the new Red Sparowes EP Aphorisms was released unto the masses, and it was good. For it possessed the same gaseousness as the cosmic flatulence issued by many of Red Sparowes' fellow space travelers in the ambient metal cosmos, but with far better control over the instrumental sturm und drang than most. Its riffing was pointed and its majesty was self-evident, especially in the title: "We left the apes to rot, but find the fang still grows within." And it was available for streaming on the band's MySpace page.

Thus spake Sargent House: "We shall release Aphorisms digitally on August 1st, with a vinyl/CD version to arrive this fall."
