School of Seven Bells, now slimmed down to a duo of Benjamin Curtis and Alejandra Deheza, are lost deep in the world of their recently released Ghostory at present. The latest venture for the band is the video for “Reappear” from that record, which is a narrative-driven cut full of glossy production values. This may be the group’s most minimal music to date, with much of the song just leaving Deheza’s vocals to ghost in and out over wispy electronic backing. Maybe they’re finally going to shake the shoegazing tag that’s dogged them since the release of Alpinisms back in 2008? If so, this may be the track to do it. Check out the video below. [via AHIAS]
