If the new Ratatat video teaches us anything, it's that if the duo ever get tired of the touring life, they could probably find work composing scores for National Geographic or Discovery Channel shows. Shot by Ratatat member Evan Mast while on tour in Southeast Asia, the video for "Mahalo" takes viewers on a two-minute riverboat trip, showing local homes and foilage along the way. It's an appropriately low key video that effectively manages to capture the atmosphere of the track, which is one of the lightest things the band has ever composed.
"Mahalo" comes from LP4, which was released today by XL Recordings.
