Raphael Saadiq dropped his latest throwback record, Stone Rollin', this past Tuesday and it features him toying with blues, funk, and doo wop. You can hear the blues influence especially on the title track, which was one of two cuts he performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live! two nights ago. He and his live band also ran through "Heart Attack," a foot-stompin', rollickin' jam that just might be his next single. If not, the track certainly gets its just due by opening the album, which is proving that Saadiq can pretty much tackle whichever music era he wants. What's next?
Watch "Heart Attack" below. Stone Rollin' is out now.

This performance was killer! I love this dude, Stone Rollin' is one of my favorite albums I've heard so far this year.
