Raphael Saadiq brought his semi-recent conversion to classic rock friendly material onto Leno last night, trotting out "Day Dreams" in an outfit taken from a Woodstock extra, and backed by Robert Randolph. Saadiq has certainly expanded his sonic palette since he came on as the extension of neo-soul, which is probably good for his long term, but which will be a negative development for those missing Saadiq's old flavor. The best part of this video? Louis C.K.'s awkward-ass cameo at the end.
Saadiq's Stone Rollin' is out now.
