If you’ve ever wanted to see Jimmy Kimmel squirm, now’s your chance. His introduction to German metal titans Rammstein was performed through clenched teeth last night (May 19), but the host needn’t have worried—this was a relatively sedate showing by their standards. Sure some poor guy actually got set on fire by singer Till Lindemann, but the flames were quickly extinguished by a nearby roadie. So, to sum up Rammstein’s late night TV showing: they came, they served up a pallid facsimile of metal, they safely extinguished some flames at the side of the stage. What's next? An album of Belle & Sebastian covers?
