Rain Machine: "Smiling Black Faces" (MP3)

"Smiling Black Faces," the second single from TV on the Radio's Kyp Malone's Rain Machine side-project, is considerably more reserved and straight-forward than first single "Give Blood." Malone's layered falsetto is accompanied by a solemn guitar chime and a tambourine, before giving way to a skittish latter third. 

Rain Machine, Malone's solo debut, is due out on Sept. 22 via Anti-. [Stereogum]
