"Lyin' To Myself" is the latest cut off of crooner Raheem DeVaughn's upcoming album, The Love & War Masterpeace. And it's honest and soulful without any over-the-top nonsense sprinkled in that typically plagues anything dubbed R&B today. There are exceptions, of course, like Maxwell, Raphael Saadiq, and the Foreign Exchange. Anyone with a radio knows how absurd mainstream R&B has become. But I digress. It's also refreshing to not hear any Autotune on here, especially after DeVaughn used it for his hook on Ghostface Killah's "Baby" off Wizard Of Poetry In Emerald City.
