This weekend, hip-hop personality Peter Rosenberg is releasing a mixtape, What's Poppin' Vol. 1, that's set to feature some of our favorite underground (and mainstream) hip-hop acts from across the nation. We're talking guys like Asher Roth, J Cole, Kendrick Lamar, Action Bronson, the Kid Daytona, Homeboy Sandman, Smif N Wessun, and Childish Gambino. If that wasn't enough, they're also a track that pairs up elder hip-hop statesman Raekwon with up-and-comers Hassaan Mackey and Kaimbr, who all spit over a grimy beat from Diamond D. Both Mackey and Kaimbr have established loyal fan bases with strong under-the-radar releases, so it's only right that they get to link up with two living rap legends in the Chef and Diamond D.
