Raekwon: "Never Used to Matter" f. Bun B
You can't really blame Raekwon and his label, Ice H20/EMI, for trying to capitalize a little more on his 2009 smash. As such, they have put together this, Only Built 4 Cuban Linx...Pt. II: The Gold Deluxe Edition, which features several brand new tracks and a few remixes. Falling into the former of those categories is "Never Used to Matter," a cut that would have sounded right at home on the original version of this LP. Bun B and the Chef kick rhymes putting down cats they grew up with that have now turned against them. You know, that kind of frustrated mentality that was prevalent on several OB4CL2 tracks. But what makes "Never Used to Matter" so special is the well crafted beat from Scram Jones, who has really been on a tear this past year or so.
