Raekwon: "Butter Knives"
It looks like Shade 45 is the place to go to announce big news about your forthcoming projects. We reported yesterday that Q-Tip has named his fourth solo album, The Last Zulu. And today we learned that Raekwon took to the radio show to proclaim that his next LP, Shaolin vs. Wu-Tang, is done and dropping next year. Here we have one of the tracks from the record -- and the first leak, right? -- via "Butter Knives." The Bronze Nazareth-produced cut sounds like it could fit in on any Wu-Tang-affiliated album as it boasts samples from martial arts films and sound-sharpening sounds. The sharp (pun intended, sorry) rhymes from Rae only help the cause as it's looking like Shaolin vs. Wu-Tang might be another strong addition to his catalog.
