Radical Dads: "Skateboard Bulldog" (Prefix Premiere)

The ubiquitous YouTube video of a British bulldog skateboarding apparently inspires much more than laughter and procrastination. At least, that's what we're thinking after hearing this killer new single from Gowanus, N.Y.'s Radical Dads. "Skateboard Bulldog" references the aforementioned oddly skilled animal in both its title and chorus.

Beyond that, though, the track finds its legs outside of pop-culture references. "Skateboard Bulldog" is plucky and gritty, with its defining characteristics shining through in the immensely catchy guitar lines and driving percussion. If you're digging track as much as we are, be sure to keep an eye out for the "Skateboard Bulldog" 7" single. It features "Know It All" as the B-side.
