Ra Ra Riot: "Too Dramatic"

"Too Dramatic" is an effortlessly breezy cut from Ra Ra Riot's upcoming album The Orchard. The beat remains relentlessly quick and punchy, the drums sounding like firecrackers going off about midway through the track. The strings create a criss-crossing mid-section, while the guitars and bass lay down chords that manage to be both chunky and wiry at the same time. On top of all of this, frontman Wes Miles flexes his falsetto skills when not delivering an already elastic vocal part. Then, the entire thing just skids to a halt after three minutes.
