Here’s a Rik Cordero-directed video for “Renaissance Rap,” the B-Side to Q-Tip’s latest Renaissance single, “Move.” The song is almost one-track minded on self-referencing (Tip name-checks his current album, and Tribe Called Quest’s Midnight Marauders), and the video is as well, as it features two cops looking for Tip to autograph their copies of The Renaissance. I’d call it self-absorbed if I wasn’t just happy Tip’s finally got an album out again. [Nahright]
