For those of you who have heard the endless praise for the Roots' live performances and somehow never seen them live, you're in luck. Their recent performance in New York City on the Hennessy Artistry Tour was captured on uStream and, now, available for viewing by all. The nearly three-hour-long set features about an hour of spinning from a DJ followed by a non-stop assault on the senses by the Roots, Q-Tip, and a slew of guests, from Bobby Brown to Eve to Ronald Isley. If you ever doubted the skills of the Roots, this video should show you just why their live shows are so revered. They transition seamlessly from one song to the next, many of which aren't even their own, for nearly two hours. I can't say it enough -- if you haven't seen The Roots in concert, just do it already.
