8-bit fans can get their sticky little pixilated fingers on Weezer- The 8-bit Album thanks to Pterodactyl Squad, a self-proclaimed “video game music netlabel.” 8-bit musicians such as Unicorn Dream Attack, OxygenStar and :( are on the mix, with hits like “Buddy Holly” and “Holiday” providing the most obvious thrills. The music was made with “home-brew software” of the videogame variety that incorporates the gamut from Game Boys to full bands. Nerdcore 4eva.
