“Pretty Lil’ Heart” F. Lil Wayne

Lil Wayne’s unrelenting spree of guest features continues today with his opening verse for previous collaborator Robin Thicke’s new single, “Pretty Lil’ Heart.” And aside from a few bizarre lines — they’re to be expected at this point, right? — Weezy is right at home over the throwback soul production. Still, I just don’t know why dude has to work a shit reference into every goddamn song he’s on. Is that part of some contract I don’t know about? Anyway, Thicke is his typically smooth self, which is serviceable or amazing depending on your feelings on his music. “Pretty Lil’ Heart” stems from his upcoming album, Love After War, which drops Dec. 6.
