'Where Is Danny?' (Album - Download)

Some slightly disappointing news this morning from Danny!'s camp. Where Is Danny?, his latest album, is being re-worked for retail release after IMEEM and some writers apparently leaked the advance copy. Leaks aren't new or surprising these days, but it's still frustrating, especially considering this 26-track album represents Danny!'s finest work to date. He shed most of what held him back on previous efforts -- the Kanye comparisons, songs mostly about himself, soul samples -- and came with what plays like an early De La Soul album on acid. And, according to producer Alex Goose, the songs you hear on this download are demos. A final version of this album will serve as Danny!'s Definitive Jux debut. The South Carolina rapper/producer signed with the independent hip-hop label in 2007.
