The guys in Portugal. The Man are originally from Alaska, and this video for two tracks from the forthcoming In The Mountain, In The Cloud shows off much of the terrain in that region. We get audio of “Sleep Forever” and "Got It All (This Can’t Be Living Now)” while scenes of rare beauty scroll across the screen, making a perfectly suitable accompaniment to the wistful nature of Portugal. The Man’s music. That new record is the band’s first for the major label Atlantic and there’s been a noticeable shift up in production values here. Be warned, though: anyone enamored with singer John Baldwin Gourley may want to look away after he accidentally shoots himself in this clip.
