Portishead's Third was one of 2008's pleasant surprises-- who could have thought the band would still have it in them to make an album that great. Perhaps in a bid to get everyone to remember the album in list making season (actually, because the song is out as a single on 12/15), the band has released a trippy video for "Magic Doors," that plays like a film student's collage project where he tries to show the horrors of the western world. It's fitting for the emotional discord of the song, though. [Stereogum]
