Porcelain Raft--the London-via-Italy recording project for Mauro Remiddi--favors strong pop melodies, but they're often submerged in a hazy dream-state. The moniker's debut album, this year's Strange Weekend, sounds like listening to some long-lost AM radio station as it beams out classics from yesteryear.
Appropriately, Strange Weekend cut "The Way In" gets a memory-filled video filmed and produced by Remiddi himself (he even makes a few cameos). Ghostly found footage dances on a lo-fi movie screen in what looks like a living room, and the homespun quality of the song syncs up quite nicely to the half-forgotten images. Watch it below.
