Polly Scattergood: "Please Don't Touch" (The Golden Filter Pop Mix)

Mysterious New York disco outfit  The Golden Filter are proving to be as adept at remixes (see Peter Bjorn and John's "Lay It Down," Cut Copy's "Far Away), as they are at producing original, sultry, late night gems. Their latest remix has them doing justice to England's Polly Scattergood, replacing the original's guitar with stomping bass and grandiose filter sweeps. Polly Scattergood's got trademark innocent looks, but the Golden Filter's sonic tinkering gives the track's titular "admonition" a pretty ambivalent feel.
