“Plumage” (Video)

It’s good to see that even though Menomena‘s latest album, Moms, deals with some pretty heavy, personal subject matter, Danny Seim and Justin Harris have not lost their sense of humor.

Today, the duo shares the visual accompaniment to its latest single, “Plumage.” The video, directed by Trevor McMaha, is a bizzare Mexican standoff in which Seim and Harris show off their various forms of plumage, which range from kegs of beer to axes and machine guns but ends in both members standing face to face in their underwear. Some of the custome ideas are downright goofy, but the video itself is amazing. Afterall, we’re all just humans when you strip us down, right?
