“Plot Music”

Remember when Curren$y was on Cash Money Records for a few years in the mid-2000s? If so, then you probably also recall that the New Orleans rapper was essentially forced to cut ties with the label after his debut got pushed back again and again. Since then, Spitta’s obviously gone on to do his own thing — and do it well, might I add.

But in case you were wondering how he would have sounded over, say, the pre-2000s Cash Money sound, he’s come through with “Plot Music.” It finds him dropping bars over “Cash Money is an Army” off B.G.’s Southern classic, Chopper City in the Ghetto. Stream Curren$y’s take on track below.
