I'm not exactly sure what to make of this video for Plants and Animals' "The Mama Papa," a poppy song that mixes the Frenchkiss roster with Cold War Kids. I guess it's a dissection of psychics, but then it becomes about how kids hate taking baths? And the other side that is mentioned in the song is the side where kids are allowed to be dirty, apparently. I guess that makes sense, insofar as music videos can make any sense at all. Though I could see this as some kind of short film project for a film student's silent film practicum.
