PJ Harvey is in the country to play Coachella and a few other dates, and she showed up on Conan O’Brien’s show last night (April 11) to play “The Last Living Rose” from Let England Shake. John Parish and former Bad Seed/Birthday Party member Mick Harvey are among the musicians in Harvey’s current band, and they help bring this song to life in a version that’s pretty faithful to its recorded incarnation. The chief talking point here may turn out to be Harvey’s hair, which makes it look like she was attacked by a wild bird on the way into the studio.
