PJ Harvey: "On Battleship Hill" (Video)

PJ Harvey is releasing a video for every track on her Let England Shake album, and the latest song to get that treatment is “On Battleship Hill.” Photographer Seamus Murphy directs, just as he did on the other clips from the album, and it features footage of a German gentleman reciting the opening lines to the song, and some elderly ladies playing bingo. The footage is wonderfully evocative and really matches the melancholy feel of the track, which should take on a different air when she reaches these shores to tour the full record later this month.
