Phoenix: "Long Distance Call" (Live ON MTV Unplugged) (Video)

The best part about MTV not having shit to do with real music anymore is how comically late they are to a lot of musical parties. I mean, here they are, just discovering that Phoenix are really great, by having them do an episode of Unplugged, at least a year and a half after the rest of the world decided that. Good for Phoenix, I guess, but just imagine what kind of hyper-text explosion would have happened if this video came out last summer. It could have collapsed the Internet. Above is video for the oldie but goodie "Long Distance Call," and you can see performances of five other songs at MTV.
