While in Minneapolis for a sold-out show, French poppers Phoenix dropped by Minnesota Public Radio's The Current for an acoustic set that includes takes of "1901," "Lisztomania" (from Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix) and "Playground Love" (an Air song that Phoenix played the instruments for). These guys don't have a full-time drummer, as evidenced by the iPhone drums they play instead. "1901" is above, and "Lisztomania" and "Playground Love" are below.
Wow, I didn't know they didn't have a full-time drummer! The guy that played with them on the late night tv circuit was really good and fun to watch. I hope they hire him.
